Dear ArtReach Community,
Some people may know ArtReach as a local arts funder, others as a workshop provider, and a few just as an organization that puts out a cool newsletter. We could give you impressive statistics on funding distribution, program attendance, or the size of our network (which you can see here, if youโre curious!), but to truly understand our impact, we want to share a fuller picture of what we do with you:
We connect emerging creators with funding:
We curate personalized lists of funding opportunities, mentor applicants to our own grants and those from other funders, and keep our Grant Calendar updated with deadlines from across the sector
We help people access relevant opportunities in the arts sector:
We send out a bi-weekly newsletter and keep our social media populated with relevant employment, learning, funding, advocacy, and community engagement opportunities
We provide letters of support, and act as a reference for school admissions, volunteer positions, job applications, award nominations, and scholarships
We offer opportunities to build knowledge, skills, and capacity:
We help artists develop the specific skills and connect to the specific resources they need- providing free, low-barrier professional development workshops, virtual 1-1 mentorship meetings, and offer an extensive digital resource libraryย
We provide holistic support to our community- we offer connections to resources to the many young artists who come to us facing personal, social, financial, and health challenges
This is the ArtReach โจmagicโจ- we are an investor, not just in โthe artsโ, but in Torontoโs artists, cultural leaders, and communities. However, in order to continue this investment, we need youย to invest in ArtReach. From now until December 31st, weโre running our $25 to 2025 campaign: with a donation of $25, youโll help us reach our fundraising goal of $2,500 to sustain this impactful work through 2025.
