research survey: BUILDING YOUTH ARTS CAREERS IN THE GTA

ArtReach, Next Gen Arts, and Blackstone Foundation Library want to hear from you about what it’s like to get started + build a career in the GTA’s arts, culture, and organizing scene. We’re especially interested in the experiences of racialized youth and young adults (ages 18–35) living or working in the GTA.

What’s going well? What barriers are you facing? And what opportunities could make it easier for young people like you to get opportunities and grow your career in the arts?

Your answers will feed into a bigger research project, including focus groups, an event, and a final report with recommendations to make arts careers and pathways more accessible and fair.

The survey takes about 8–10 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and your answers will remain confidential.
