ArtReach's 2026 Artist Creation Project grant is open! 💸📝
This grant is for…
✨Emerging artists aged 16-29 from equity-deserving communities who live + practice in Toronto, demonstrate experience and the completion of works in the art form they’re applying for, and have not received funding from an arts council/ any substantial arts funding for their personal practice
✨The creation of new artistic works in any discipline that cost up to $1,000 and will be completed within a 4-month period in early 2027
This grant does not support: events, workshops, professional development, promotion, music videos, duplication, business start-up costs, public exhibition/ release costs, or research projects.

HOW TO APPLY:
Head to artreach.org/projectgrant to read our Program Guidelines and FAQs, confirm your eligibility, access the application form, and sign up for supports. This grant opens September 1st, and the deadline to apply is October 1st, 2026 at 11:59pm. We do not accept late submissions. Results will be announced in mid-November, and funding will be disbursed in early January.

Info Sessions
We’ll be hosting two virtual info sessions on September 9th + 23rd. These sessions will cover a review of the program guidelines, an overview of the application form, and tips for creating a strong submission. Register now at artreach.org/workshops
1-1 Meetings
We’ll be offering 1-1 virtual meetings with applicants throughout the granting round. We strongly encourage you to meet with our staff to confirm your eligibility, discuss your project idea, and get advice on strengthening your application. Sign-up for a meeting here!
